 Storyboard of Jesus's Ascension 

Today in TWP we were doing some work on Jesus' Ascension. We had an activity to match columns A to Columns B. There were sentences that we had to match in column a and put it together with the column b. We also had to create a storyboard of the main things happened leading up to the ascension day.

Jesus entered Jerusalem on a donkey, 50 days before Ascension

On Thursday of the week that followed Palm Sunday, Jesus had his last meal with his apostles.

The day after his last supper Jesus was put to death on a cross on Calvary Hill.

Jesus lay in a tomb for 3 days and then God raised him up.

After his resurrection Jesus showed himself to his friends and some of them did not recognise him.

He spent time with his apostles and told them he was going to return to his Father.

50 days after Palm Sunday Jesus was taken by God to share his glory in heaven.

Because Jesus entered heaven in glory he made it possible for his followers to do the same.

 Today in in Te Wirua Pakiki whanau we where split into groups and we had to choose a name for our group but it had to Sanit's name. The poeple in our group were Krystal, Achillies, Esau, Leitupo, Elijah, Amihuti and Me. Our groups name was Mary - The mother of Jesus.

Lent is a season for prayer, fasting and almsgiving, the other potential season is advent and Lent prepares us for the feast of Easter. Lent comes after ordinary time and people use Lent as a time to focus kn their relationship with Jesus.

Soul Friends, St Patrick, Ash Wednesday 

Today at St Pius school we had a very special mass. this Mass was special because we celebrated three very important occasions for our school. They are St Patrick's Day, Ash Wednesday and Soul Friends day. As we go fourth in the week of lent today we honour St.Patrick, he is the patron saint of Ireland and the Holy faith sisters who started our school, over sixty years ago, who came from Ireland, and they brought the Ideas of Soul friends.

In the early Irish church people choose someone wise to be there Soul Friend. This Friends is someone who you will look up to and a person who you can talk to you and share the experiences in life with.

We had our Ash Wednesday today because every time we tried to have a Ash Wednesday mass we went into lock down.

People Pray in different way, at different times

Today on the 17 of March I did an activity about people can pray in different ways and time's.

To complete this activity we had to get a bible but I couldn't find one anywhere so I just went on Bible Gateway and typed in the chapter's and versus. After I finished the activity I added the WALT ( WE ARE LEARNING TO).

The Hardest part was the last one                                                                                        The easiest part was adding the WALT in.

Maraia - Prayer to the Holy Spirit 🙏

Prayer to the Holy Spirit 🙏 

Today on the 15th of March in TWP 4 we read a prayer about the Holy Spirit and then we had to choose two of the Spirit's and write the prayer down then write an examples that goes with that prayer.

I choose the Spirit of Kindness and the Spirit of Goodness.
