Today in class we finished of some of our R.E and after we finished it we had to watch a video about where St. Paul traveled by walking and by boat and make a storyboard of where he traveled till Jerusalem.

Maraia, Vili, Alfonsus - Dawn Raids Activity

Today in class we learnt about the Dawn raids because it was in New Zealand and apart of our history and we found out that three days ago on August 1st  there was an apology for the Dawn Raids and Jacinda Ardern our Prime minister did a speech and there were different types of performances but with cultures.

The Dawn raids started because the Labour Government faced an economic turn down and New Zealand people noticed that they weren't getting a lot of money so they said that they need to fire people because they weren't getting money. But when the people noticed they didn't have enough to pay their bills so they got angry and said that the Polynesian's were taking and stealing their jobs, and if you were brown you would randomly get stopped in church or even in the streets.

Today in class we did R.E. For R.E we had to do a recap about Acts 2: 1 - 13. There were ten questions they were pretty hard but there were some hints. I did this activity with my friend Ana because we were next to each other.

 Foots Steps Dance #1

Today for P.E or Physical Education this term we are doing Footsteps dance. They people who taught us were Kate and Maddie. Something I found challenging was moving fast and learning the moves, Something I found hard or a move I found hard was called "picking up shopping bags"

 Today for Literacy, we did some current events we had read about Samoa and how Ms Mata'afa is the first Samoan woman government. Something I found challenging or hard was creating doing the questions Something I found easy was writing my recall question!

The main person in this article Samoa impasse ends was Ms Mata’afa. The key event in this article is when a sea captain from the Netherlands was the first to come to samoa in 1722. This event took place in Samoa. This took place on the 29th July 2021.

Life Among The Believers

 Today in R.E I did an activity about the people in the early church. We had to read Acts 2:43-47 and rewrite it into our own words, then we had to make a storyboard about Acts 2:43-47. Something I found hard was rewriting Acts 2:43-47 into my own words and something I found easy was making my storyboard.
