Oropūare and Orokati, Vowels and Consonants
Today for Maori we refreshed our memories about the Maori alphabet by learning all of the letters again and by a song.
The Maori Alphabet ( Arapu ) is made up of eight consonants, five vowels and two digraphs. Digraphs are two letters that combine to form one sound.
I really liked doing this activity plus it was really easy to do because we already knew part of it. we had to know the difference between long vowels and short.
